On the UNIL and EPFL sites, la Croquignole, la Croq'cinelle, le Polychinelle and Primavera cater for children aged 2 months to 4 and a half years, at least one of whose parents has a UNIL or EPFL contract or is studying there. The Fondation Accueil Petite Enfance EPFL-UNIL (FAPE) is the administrative and decision-making body that manages the four childcare centres.
These childcare centres are part of the Lausanne childcare network (Réseau-L). Registration is made with the Lausanne Parents Information Office (BIP). While waiting for a place, your application must be updated every 4 months. Rates are based on salary: see the calculator provided by the City of Lausanne.
