Organisation of a CIVIS meeting at UNIL


 

UNIL's funding programme for the CIVIS European University supports networking activities, as well as participation in or organisation of preparatory meetings for collaborative initiatives with CIVIS Alliance member universities, such as BIPs and the development of joint degrees.

  • To explore specific collaboration ideas in the field of teaching or research.
  • To develop collaboration between administrative departments at different universities.
  • You can apply for up to CHF 5,000 per initiative.
  • Expected results: specific action plan for continued collaboration.
  • The Cellule CIVIS can advise project leaders on the prospects for collaboration within the framework of the European University.
  • Examples of activities :
    • Organisation of workshops, seminars, exchange meetings, etc.
    • Preparation of small-scale transnational collaborative projects, such as a BIP, a module, or large-scale projects, such as a joint programme.
  • Transnational activity in the field of UNIL's research, teaching and services ;
  • The meeting should aim to initiate or strengthen a long-term CIVIS collaboration;
  • Two other CIVIS universities must be involved;
  • The collaboration must be beneficial and relevant to UNIL;
  • The budget may cover travel and subsistence expenses for invited colleagues, and/or UNIL collaborators to CIVIS universities. If the meeting takes place in Lausanne, funding may also cover group meals;
  • The organisation of the trip must strictly apply the UNIL's Directive 0.8 ;

If funding is granted, the proposed activities must be carried out within one year of the date of confirmation of the grant.
