Learning outcomes

  • Write clear, cohesive and meaningful academic texts, paying particular attention to rhetorical context, opening statements, general-specific movement, etc.
  • Maintain a good level of lexical accuracy and complexity to introduce, emphasize and/or evaluate information and ideas
  • Review and revise one's work and that of others
  • Deal with basic intercultural differences in relation to different text type conventions
  • Make use of independent learning strategies for writing
