reCIRCLE - Reusable containers
Takeaway meals in returnable packaging.
To limit the production of incinerable waste, the reCIRCLE system has been set up at UNIL. These containers are available in the main cafeterias on campus for CHF 10.– each for the boxes and CHF 5.– each for the cups.
You eat and after the meal, you return the reCIRCLE BOX to one of the main cafeterias at UNIL, EPFL or a reCIRCLE partner establishment (see the online map). At that time, either:
- you collect the amount paid for your container (CHF 10.– or CHF 5.–)
- you receive a clean reCIRCLE BOX
Abused containers can also be exchanged with their lids.
Using the app, reCIRCLEs can be borrowed free of charge for up to 7 days. So there are no deposits, no cash and it’s even more simple.
