Campus card blocked

If your campus card is no longer working, it may be blocked. In this case, your campus card can no longer be used to access its features and services.

There are several reasons why your campus card may be blocked:

  • Your registration fee has not yet been paid or is being processed.
  • Your contract has arrived or is in the process of being renewed.
  • Your campus card has been reported as stolen or lost.
  • A new campus card in your name has been issued.

If none of these apply to you, your card may have been accidentally blocked as a result of its exposure to a strong magnetic field or interference.

Blocking or unblocking your campus card

Blocking your campus card

If your campus card has been lost or stolen, we strongly advise you to block it immediately so that the credit available on your e-wallet and print credits are not spent.

You can block your campus card on MyUNIL at any time. To do so, click on your profile icon at the top left, then select ‘My campuscard’. In the box on the left, click on the ‘Block’ button. Confirm the action. Your campus card is now blocked.

Unblocking your campus card

If your campus card has been blocked, you can unblock it yourself at any time on MyUNIL. To do this, click on your profile icon in the top left-hand corner, then select ‘My campuscard’. In the box on the left, click on the ‘Unblock’ button. Confirm the action. Your campus card is now unlocked.

Important: once your card has been unlocked, you will need to validate it again to access its services and functions.
