At the suggestion of the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, Professor Meir Bar-Asher is awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Lausanne.
A member of several important committees at the Hebrew University and other institutions in Israel, he is the author of a scholarly body of work, including The Jews in the Qur'an (translated into English: Jews and the Qur'an, Princeton University Press, 2021), The Nusayri-Alawi Religion (2002), Scripture and Exegesis in Early Imami Shiism (1999), as well as numerous reference articles.

At the suggestion of the FDCA, Professor Norma M. Riccucci was awarded the degree of Doctor of Public Administration honoris causa by the University of Lausanne.
UNIL is awarding an honorary doctorate to Norma M. Riccucci, professor at Rutgers University in Newark and member of the Board of Governors Professors, in recognition of the quality of her scientific work, the diversity of intellectual issues addressed in her research and publications, and her concern for the socio-economic impact of her work.

At the suggestion of the LIVES Centre of the Faculté des SSP, Professor Richard Settersten is awarded the title of Doctor of Social Sciences honoris causa by the University of Lausanne.
The Faculty of Social Sciences honours Professor Richard Settersten, Distinguished Professor and Barbara E. Knudson Chair in Human Development and Family Sciences at Oregon State University, for his outstanding contributions to the sociology of the life course and developmental psychology.

At the suggestion of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine, Professor Catherine Lubetzki has been awarded the honorary title of Doctor honoris causa by the University of Lausanne.
Catherine Lubetzki, a professor of neurology at the Sorbonne who is also director of the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital, is a key figure in the world of multiple sclerosis: she is a specialist in the phenomena of demyelination and remyelination, which are central to understanding this disease.
