In order to guarantee the confidentiality of data, in particular during the online delivery of a service, our websites use SSL certificates authenticated by a third party. In accordance with article 25 of the Data Protection Act, any person may request that the Université de Lausanne grant them access to the personal data collected about them and, where appropriate, request that it be updated, rectified or destroyed.

  • either to the dean of the Faculty to which you are attached (or have been attached in the past in your capacity as an Alumnus);

7.1. Visitor statistics

The web server only records usage data that highlights statistical trends from which we improve our offering (log files). This site uses four statistical tools:

  2. Google Tag Manager, a tag management tool, developed by Google Inc;
  3. AWStats, a site analysis application installed on servers belonging to the University of Lausanne;
  4. Hotjar , a tool for behavioural analysis of internet usage

These use cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website à analyse how its users use the site. The data generated by the cookies concerning your use of the site (including your IP address, which is truncated in our Google analytics records) is transmitted to and stored on servers located in the United States in the case of Google and at the University of Lausanne in the case of AWStats. This includes the IP address, the geographical origin, the date of the visit, the duration of the visit, the pages consulted and the sequence of pages. This information is used for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
