Are you enthusiastic, concerned or sceptical about the ambitious objectives of full publication of research results in Open Access? Do you have any uncertainties about the availability of funds to support the publication of your work in Open Access? In the humanities and social sciences, the transition involves sensitive issues such as the transition from paper to digital, obtaining publication rights for images or recent sources, or choosing publishing locations (e. g. limited number of Open Access journals by discipline).
This morning of reflection will allow you to address all the questions you have on the subject with its main actors. A presentation of the SNSF policy on support for Open Access publication will be followed by an exchange of experiences from both humanities and social sciences publishers and researchers. This is an opportunity to take stock of, and hopefully clarify, the prospects for the Open Access publication of research in the humanities and social sciences in the Swiss context.
