Interface aims to develop research projects carried out between members of the UNIL community and practitioners in the field; representatives of associations, public institutions, citizens' groups, businesses, NGOs, foundations and cooperatives. These projects will provide some answers to concrete needs.
While respecting a rigorous, reliable and independent research framework, the projects supported will pursue objectives of social relevance and impact in society. Interface encourages the development of a certain type of research innovative, for which sources of funding and institutional support are lacking.
The financial and methodological support offered by Interface will help to strengthen a culture of partnership research within our university. The co-production of living knowledge, linked to our social, cultural, political and economic environment, will strengthen the participation of UNIL members in current and future societal transitions.
