Social Affairs and Student Mobility (SASME)

SASME is the department responsible for financial aid, student mobility (university exchanges, etc.), accommodation and working while studying. It is also home the psychotherapeutic consultation service and is the welcome service for students who have been awarded a scholarship for excellence at UNIL.


 

A service for students within a network of services

The SASME works closely with other student services, such as the Vocational Guidance and Careers Service (SOC), Health Centre, Chaplaincy and Admissions Service (SII).

Services

Financial aid and social advice

  • Allocate financial aid in the form of grants, temporary assistance or partial exemption from university fees.
  • Advise students on social and administrative issues (budget, administrative procedures, etc.)
  • Enable UNIL students experiencing psychological difficulties to consult a psychologist or psychiatrist through our psychotherapeutic consultation service.

Opening hours

The reception desk is open on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 1pm and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1pm to 3pm.

Our office will be closed for the holiday season from Tuesday, December 24, 2024, to Friday, January 5, 2025. We will reopen on Monday, January 6.
