With an offline card reader, the card reader is not connected to the network. As a result, the system does not check directly online whether the profile associated with your card has rights, but reads the data written on your campus card. When you receive a new campus card or when your access rights have been changed, it is therefore necessary to write these rights on your campus card..
Updating your access rights is done via a access database. They are available in all buildings with card-reader doors. Access rights are active for seven days.
