College of Science
The College of Science is a unit of the University of Lausanne, created in 2003. It acts as a link between EPFL, HEP Vaud and UNIL around the teaching of chemistry, physics, mathematics and other subjects.
Overview
The responsibilities of the College of Science are as follows:
- Coordinate teaching in the basic sciences (maths, physics and chemistry) delivered to UNIL students by EPFL.
- Collaborate with the (Sciences)2 teaching programme, made up of modules in natural sciences, life sciences and basic sciences, taught partly by EPFL lecturers and aimed at UNIL students.
- Supervise teaching in the sciences for students at HEP Vaud teacher training college.
