A comprehensive modular approach, the skills assessment enables you to take stock of your career path, assess your strengths and define a career development plan. The assessments carried out by the Guidance and Careers Service are individual, confidential and specifically designed for university students.
Skills assessments focus on:
The skills assessment is aimed at UNIL graduates who have completed most of their studies (Bachelor's or Master's) and already have at least 3 years' professional experience. Significant professional integration since the award of the degree is essential in order to offer a certain degree of reflection on the course taken and the knowledge acquired.
The process is not offered to people who left UNIL before obtaining a degree or to those who have only followed a short or continuing training course at UNIL.
Doctoral students benefit from Graduate Campus services. For any queries or advice, please contact graduatecampus@unil.ch
The skills assessments commit you to 3 à 8 one-hour interviews with a·e psychologist.
If you would like further information or would like to start the assessment process, please contact the SOC secretariat by telephone. You will receive a preliminary questionnaire of a few pages. Please complete it and return it to us. If your request seems suitable, we will arrange an initial interview with one of our psychologists.
We will then contact you to discuss your request.
Note: Competency assessments are an additional, non-priority service among those offered by our department.Depending on the academic year and the number of requests, the waiting period may vary!
