Analysis of questionnaire results

The contextualised evaluation report can be requested following the Students' Evaluation of Teaching (SET)

Summary of results

A summary of the results may be drawn up by the CSE when the average agreement on the various questions in a questionnaire is less than 80% of the respondents, or in special cases relating to a particular issue linked to your status or ability. The summary is based on the comments left by students and their answers to the closed questions.

It includes :

  • a general appreciation ;
  • the 3 points that worked best ;
  • the elements that could be improved;

We will provide a summary of the results on request.

Deadline: 1 week

Request and further information: cse-eval@unil.ch

Performance graph

If you have given students a similar questionnaire several times over the last few years, you can produce a graph showing how the results have changed. For each dimension evaluated using the closed questions in the questionnaires, the percentage of agreement of the students is shown.

To obtain a graph showing how the results have changed, you need to have consulted the students at least twice for the same course, using a similar questionnaire. All you have to do is ask the CSE for it.

Deadline: 3 days

Contextualised evaluation report

Teachers have the opportunity to meet with a CSE pedagogical adviser in order to obtain contextualised feedback on the results obtained following the assessment of a lesson by students using a questionnaire as part of the Direction directive 3.22.

The meeting lasts approximately 1 hour and results in a report that is written, structured and co-signed with the teacher. The report contains:

  • a contextualisation of the teaching and the results obtained;
  • the teacher's pedagogical intentions, his or her views on the development and operation of his or her teaching and the results of the SET;
  • a plan for development or support following analysis of the results, drawn up with the teacher;

It should be noted that this meeting is mandatory when the average agreement on the various questions of an SET is less than 60% of the respondents.

The report is signed by the pedagogical adviser and the teacher. It is sent exclusively to the teacher, who is free to use it as he or she sees fit.

The report is signed by the pedagogical adviser and the teacher.

Deadline: 10 days after the meeting
