Complementary exchange grants

UNIL offers social grants to students selected for an exchange and facing financial difficulties. More information on this page.

Travel insurance

UNIL offers travel insurance to its students and staff who travel outside Switzerland as part of their studies or professional activity.

The International Relations Office (IRO) is responsible for signing and renewing agreements.

Next steps

  1. The interested professor contacts the International Relations Office (IRO) and presents his or her project.
  2. If the SRI's preliminary opinion is positive, the SRI contacts the faculty mobility officer to check that the faculty supports the project. If the agreement includes student exchanges, the mobility coordinator is also informed.
  3. If the faculty supports the project, the IRO negotiates the agreement with the partner and collects the signatures.
  4. A copy of the signed agreement is sent to the faculty for information (mobility officer and mobility coordinator, if applicable).
