The purpose of the UNIL Bible group is to enable students to meet around the book of the Bible (this very famous but ultimately little known book) to study it, share our thoughts and questions.

We are members of the Lausanne student community. We are lesbian, gay, bi, trans*, intersex, queer, pans, non-binary, asexual, questioning... We do not belong to the norm. We are the deviants of Lausanne's higher education institutions.

Planqueer is a plural encounter machine: inclusive and benevolent, PlanQueer organises a variety of forums throughout the year for LGBTIQ+ people who are out, struggling or questioning. Allies and other people in situations of oppression are welcome.

Evenings, talks, raclettes and screenings are all on the programme! PlanQueer aims to be the voice of the LGBTIQ+ community on Lausanne's campuses. We are addressing the rest of the university community and calling for everyone* to be free to express their gender identity and sexual orientation and/or love life without prejudice. We want academic institutions to adapt their organisation to respect LGBTIQ+ people.

Planqueer questions its identity. Being tolerant and inclusive at all times is a challenge. Things move quickly and we are not always aware of all the different ways of doing and being. That's why we ask for a margin of tolerance from people we might inadvertently offend, apologise in advance and remain open to criticism.

Are you reluctant to come and see us? The PlanQueer committee ensures that everyone's* privacy and history are respected and that people who come to an event alone find someone who is accessible and receptive. What's more, if the situation is not suitable, we are happy to help by making the connection with another, more appropriate association.
