The International Relations office of the University of Lausanne is glad to announce the UNIL Staff training Days 2019, from 18 to 21 June 2019 around the theme:

University and Society

The UNIL Staff Training Days are intended for administrative staff of international relations offices (on central or departmental level) working in connection with others locally and internationally. The programme aims to provide the participants with the following:

• Discuss and reflect on the role of University in Society and cities
• Develop soft and communication skills through workshops
• Exchange good practices to facilitate mobility
• Discuss collaboration in or out of the present and future Erasmus
• Explore the state of Europe through a discussion and visit to the Foundation Jean Monnet for Europe
• Have an insight on Lausanne as the Olympic Capital
• Discover the University of Lausanne's campus and infrastructures

The intended programme is below.

The number of participants is limited to 20 with a maximum of 2 people per institution. The selection will be made according to two criteria:

1. Motivation and reasons for taking part in this training
2. Field of work

The working language is English.

REGISTRATION

Registrations are now closed. 

This training is financed by the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) and by our university (not by Erasmus+). 

In this frame, no fees are charged for participants working at a European institution holding an Erasmus+ Charter.

We cover the costs of:

• lunches (from Tuesday to Friday)
• 2 dinners (on Tuesday and Thursday)
• 4 hotel nights (check in: on Monday or Tuesday - check out: on Friday or Saturday). Rooms have been pre-booked for the group.
• Travel costs according to the Erasmus + distance calculator between the home institution and UNIL (10-99km = CHF25 / 100-499 km = CHF220 / 500-1999km = CHF330 / 2000-2999km = CHF440 / >3000km = CHF600)

Participants working at a non European institution will need to take in charge their travel and hotel costs.
