Car parking

It is recommended that you travel to the UNIL-Dorigny campus by Lausanne Public Transport (tl) .

However, the Dorigny campus has a limited number of white areas with parking meters.

Monday to Friday	08.00 – 18.00	CHF 1.00 for the first hour, then CHF 2.00 per hour
Night	18.00 – 8.00	CHF 0.50 per hour, maximum CHF 3.00 per night
Saturday and Sunday	8.00 - 18.00	CHF 0.50 per hour, maximum CHF 3.00 per day

Visitors can also park in the green areas and the Unicentre car park at the same price as white areas between 18.00 and 08.00 and at weekends.

parking meters only accept coins.

There are three types of parking area on the UNIL campus:

White areas: for occasional visitors with a parking ticket.
Green areas: reserved for holders of a parking permit from 08.00 to 18.00 during the week and available for payment to occasional visitors from 18.00 to 08.00 and all day Saturday or Sunday. Public holidays in the Canton of Vaud are treated as Sundays.
Yellow areas: reserved for holders of a specific parking permit.

The UNIL campus also has the following types of dedicated parking spaces:

Maintenance spaces: reserved for UNIL service vehicles and vehicles of companies appointed by UNIL to carry out works on campus, which have a temporary permit issued by UNISEP.
Spaces for people with reduced mobility: reserved for holders of a parking permit for people with reduced mobility issued by the Service des Automobiles et de la Navigation (SAN).
Mobility spaces: reserved for Mobility Car Sharing vehicles.
Charging points for electric vehicles: reserved for electric vehicles on charge in accordance with the conditions of Article 0.11.13 of the UNIL Parking Directive.
