A leading international research
The University of Lausanne covers a wide range of research areas involving 3,000 academics, including 600 professors working daily on projects on a national or international scale.
With seven faculties and over 200 research units, UNIL has a well-established reputation in life sciences, human and social sciences and environmental sciences. This hive of activity drives the university’s academic output, with over 6,000 publications every year.
In addition, the UNIL Rectorate has encouraged the creation of interdisciplinary research centres to encourage cross-disciplinary research around current societal concerns.
