Code of Practice for the Doctorate This official UNIL document clarifies the rights and duties of a doctoral researcher, as well as those of their thesis supervisor. It defines a number of values and principles that underpin the relationship between the thesis supervisor and the doctoral researcher. |

Annual Thesis Survey | Activity Reports The Annual Thesis Survey is an online questionnaire composed of a single question sent to all doctoral candidates at UNIL and their supervisors, once a year. The goal is to allow each person to express their opinion confidentially, and to recall the principles laid down in the Code of Practice for the Doctorate. UNIL Doctorate Holders Career Survey What happens to graduates after their doctorate? This is the question we ask with our annual survey. The goal is to provide a year-by-year portrait of doctorate holders three years after graduation, in terms of their current professional situation, the relevance of the doctorate in their professional activity, and their expectations and satisfaction with their professional life after the doctorate. |
