| The benefits of collaborative research
Interface aims to develop research projects between members of the UNIL community and players in the field - representatives of associations, public institutions, citizens' groups, companies, NGOs, foundations or cooperatives. These projects will provide answers to concrete needs.
While respecting a rigorous, reliable and independent research framework, the projects supported will pursue objectives of social relevance and impact in society. Interface encourages the development of a certain type of innovative research, for which sources of funding and institutional support are lacking.
The financial and methodological support offered by Interface will help strengthen a culture of partnership research at our university. The co-production of living knowledge, linked to our social, cultural, political and economic environment, will strengthen the participation of UNIL members in current and future societal transitions.
